When searching and digging in and around old Wehrmacht camps and installations I`ve often come across personal hygiene items left behind by the soldiers, dropped or tossed away into dumping pits. For years I threw such finds in a box and the pile just kept growing until yesterday when I decided to empty the box and have a look at all these very personal finds.
I spent an hour sorting the brushes by color and the cream tubes after brands and ended up with 83 brushes, 49 tubes, 6 toothpowder tins and three Rosodont boxes. It was interesting seeing all the different types and manufacturers. Most were produced in Germany, but there are a few ones from France, Norway,Finland, Latvia and Estonia. Now to figure out what to do with all this :D
