Shortly after my first trip to Latvia I was back there for more expeditions. This day we went searching in some trenches on a field and in a very overgrown forest. It was very hard to search here and we didnt make any finds of fallen soldiers. On the way back Talis had a phone call from a digger that had found a Soviet soldier,so we stopped to meet him and pick up the remains so not a total waste of a day:)
Searching by a trenchline yielded little but discards from the battles. Some battledamaged Red Army machine gun magazines and ammo crates.
