Just before I left for this years International Legenda expedition I decided to make a little gift to one of the diggers, Ainis. He has found and recovered many lost soldiers and helped giving them a final resting place and some families closure to a 70 year old wound.
I used parts from a couple of different 1/35 scale figures to get it the way I wanted and found some details like the bones and shovel in my spare boxes. The box used as a base I found on the Kurland battlefields last year and ofcourse I used some sand from Kurland as the dug soil. The vegetation used is from Reality in Scale, all was painted with acrylics and weathered with oils.
