Sturmovik Shotglass set.
Two shotglasses made from 23mm ammo casings used by the Vy-23 machine cannon mounted on ww2 Soviet IL-2 Sturmovik ground attack airplane.
The casings was found on the Kurland battlefields and we decided to keep them unpolished as the original patina really brings the history to life.
The shotglasses comes with a miniature ammo crate and also we have added a real IL-2 relic. A piece which probably is from the planes skin. It has holes from rivets and two types of paint. The relic was found on the site of a Sturmovik shot down by the Germans somewhere in Kurland.
The size of the crate is 10,5x7x5cm.

German Erkennungsmärke ww2. "14(pz.Abw) I.R.193  190 (Pz.Abw = Anti-Tank). It is possible to find a lot of info about this unit, recently it even came a book about it. Parts of the unit took part in the invasion of Norway in 1940, some units fought by the Kirkenes-Litza-Murmansk front. Some of the unit capitulated in Northern Norway by the polar circle where I found the disc. You can find the report from the find under the "Forest of Norway" category on my blog.
Very nice condition.
