Legenda Prize draw 2017
Win a once in a lifetime trip to visit Latvia in 2018 to participate and help Legenda on one of their expeditions to the Battlefields of Kurland.
The lucky winner will be met at Riga airport by Legenda members and taken to their hotel in the beautiful old town of Riga, then from there you will travel to the battlefields of Kurland to help Legenda in the continuing search for the missing soldiers of WW2.
Prize details are :
1st Prize :
1 person to travel to Latvia to participate on a Legenda recovery dig in 2018 (dates to be confirmed).
The trip includes :
•£100 towards your flights.
•Accommodation in Riga (room only).
•Accommodation during the expedition. (including breakfast and dinner).
•Fully supervised expedition.
•Duration of trip will be approximately 7 days in May/June 2018.
•All costs including,digger hire,fuel,and equipment needed are all included.
•Transfers and transport are all included.
•Personally signed copy of the book “Legenda kurland Diggers” by Yngve Sjødin (Inka).
Second prize:
Personally signed copy of the book “Legenda kurland Diggers” by Yngve Sjødin (Inka).
Third prize :
A relic helmet found on the battlefield of kurland. (Photo below)
Note:
All other expenses not mentioned above including extra meals drinks ect will be funded by the winner.
All safety details and procedures you will have to follow will be explained to you once you arrive in Latvia.
The prize is non-transferable and no cash equivalent is available.
The winner will have to sign a legenda disclaimer in order to participate.
The winner will have to organise there own travel insurance.
The draw will take place on December 16th 2017 and the winner will be chosen randomly by a member of legenda and the winners will be notified by email.
Specific trip details will be emailed to the winner in due course.
Ticket sales close at 6pm on December 14th December.
This draw is open to anyone over 18* from any county or territory.
*No tickets can be sold to,on behalf of,or for a person under the age of 18 years of age.
