On this page you`ll find pick ups I made from the battlefields and ww2 sites. Please note that none of the objects is found alongside soldiers or remains,all such finds is returned to Grave Commissions together with the remains.
When one is letting the collecting borderline hoarding one can quicly accumulate stacks of boxes filled with relics. That way no one ever gets to see or touch them, so one day I was adding more relics to the piles I decided to begin making displays of them so that they can be shown rather than being forgotten about. Making displays of relics can also be a way to sneak some war memoribila into spaces sometimes controlled by the better half. Here is some of what I ve made so far, and more will be added as I make them:) Relics placed on wooden plinths or bases: Red Army mortar tail fins found in Kurland: K98 round,found in Northern Norway: Shrapnel from a large Katyusha rocket found in Kurland: Floor plating possibly from a PZIV found in Kurland. Helmet fragments mounted in frames.
