I have been hoarding fuel cans this summer. Most of them I have found at work and a few I have gotten of friends. German Kannisters : 1943. WKO. Luftwaffe grey. Marked Wehrmacht. 1943. Schwelm (?). Panzergrey/Anthrazit. Marked with a white painted `0 `. 1942. Nowack Bautzen. Panzergrey/Anthrazit. Black stripe painted on the bottom. Marked Wehrmacht. 1939. Nowack Bautzen. Panzer grey/Anthrazit. 1942. WKO. Panzergrey. Marked Wehrmacht. 1941. ABP. Panzergrey/Anthrazit. Wasser. `W` marked in the white cross. Also a rubber Waa stamp on the cross. Marked Wehrmacht. Post War / Cold War : 1952. Swedish Army. 1972. 10 l . Czech army. Sandrik.

hello, does someone know what that white cross mean? maybe if it was used to mark a kind of a luquid?!

Alex, the white cross meant the jerrycan contained water :)
