On this page you`ll find pick ups I made from the battlefields and ww2 sites. Please note that none of the objects is found alongside soldiers or remains,all such finds is returned to Grave Commissions together with the remains.

I have started collecting medals and badges. I don`t have that many yet but addictive as this is I hope the collection will grow over the years. I have started taking pics of the ones I have so far and will keep updating new ones to this post.
In the first pic above here is three Second Class War Merit crosses, awarded to personell who contributed to the war effort.

Silver and Bronze Mutter Kreuz. The bronze one is de-nazified. These was awarded to child bearing women. Bronze 4-5 children. Silver 6-7 children and Gold for 8 children and more.

My grandfather likes collecting medals as a hobby and my dad is planning to give him a German medal on his birthday. It was explained here that medal collection grows over the years. Moreover, it's recommended to go to trusted businesses when considering having German medals.
