Having made the display stand for the shotglasses in the previous post, I found some more balsa foam and my casting equipment. I was busy all day making the forms and first series of castings. When I had a small pile of divisional insignias and some bases I painted them with acrylics and a little bit of oil paints. I had more insignias than bases so I ve started making a small serie of wall decorations as well. I will sell limited amounts of the display stands and the wall decorations will be extremely limited.
It is also possible to do some custom work if you have an idea you want realized, just send me a mail or contact me via the contact form found on the front page.

Shotglass Display Stand

trench art shotglass ss nord ww2 hobbyhistorica
I got some field made shotglasses recently, found by a digger on SS Nord positions in Karelia. I felt a bit restless this evening so I threw together a little display stand for a pair of the 20mm Flak shotglass casings.
I carved the base and the shield from balsa foam and painted it with acrylics and glued it together with some epoxy, strenghtening the shield by inserting a pin between it and the base.
Contact me if you need a custom made display stand for your shotglasses.
Hope you like it:)
