At one point I heard some commotion next to the pit and stuck my head up half expecting a moose or a giraffe to bite it off. Two-three squirrels stared at me like in shock and ran up the tree in a cloud of bark. It is always great to meet those little creatures.
I had some stuff to do at home today so after filling back the pit and checking a couple of interesting looking depressions in the ground I strolled back to the car. Although I hadn`t been digging for more than three hours I was a bit soaked and with the +5 degree Celsius the Norwegian summer dished out today the heater in the car almost made me fall asleep.
