Woke up to a perfect digging weather late this morning. I quickly decided to spend the day in the forest and made some lunch to bring after having breakfast. I wanted to try find the lid for the bunker stove top I found yesterday so I turned on the Fisher and strolled towards the little clearing in the forest. On my way there I dug two small dumping pits. They were full of wires and rusted trash, and a few bunker stove parts. I also dug out a bunch of horseshoes and some other horse related items. A nice Bit,or Bridle well preserved and a interesting tag. It looks like a POW ID tag,but it has "Valatta" stamped on it, so I wonder if it can be a name tag for a horse or prehaps a dog??

I walked to the clearing and searched around for about an hour but found only scrap metal and in one spot I found 15 German uniform buttons, which was a nice find I think.
Now I was close to the dumping pit I closed up mid november last year and decided it was time to continue digging that. I spent the next few hours opening it up again, and since its been raining a lot lately the sand was heavy to lift out of the hole. After removing all the rust I already had dug out once before I needed a rest. The sand I had removed from the hole looked a bit like a comfy half-sofa so I slumped down on it had something to eat and then took a nap. It was very comfortable and I slept for about half an hour before something crawled up my nose and into my brain and woke me up,,god I hope it wasn`t a spider.
I continued to dig and I  soon found the wooden wagon wheel I had started clearing last november. It is rather deep down and will take forever to dig out, but I intend to get it out. I cleared away all the soil and rust from between the spokes and widened the hole a bit. But by now it was getting late and I was becoming seriously hungry again so I decided to leave the rest for tomorrow.
