I drove to the capitulation site and had a plan to dig out and check under at least two of the wire coils I ve found earlier. I never dug them out before as they are quite large and very stuck but I needed to know if there could be dumping pits under them. I quickly found my way to the first of them and started digging around it, but when I got it loose I found nothing under it so I strolled off to the next one. On the way I dug every signal the Fisher gave, but it seemed I was walking on a belt of nails and wire bits.
As I was digging wire coil number two it began raining, but I was warm and in treasure hunter mode so I didn`t mind getting soaked. I found nothing under this coil either so I continued picking up single signals around the forest.
The rain grew in intensity so I was happy I had put on the new raincover for the Fisher, but it began getting real tiresome walking around in this "hell weather" so I withdrew back to the car.
I didn`t find much today, the only good find was the clasp from a soldiers belt, sadly the buckle was nowhere to find .
Back home it was great getting into dry clothes and make a fire in the stove and the rest of the day will be spent cleaning some of the finds made earlier this summer.
